[ARCHIVED] Expedia ranks Cranberry among Most Comfortable Places

The online travel site Expedia has ranked Cranberry Township as #8 among its 101 Most Comfortable Cities for Travelers. The recognition, which appears at https://viewfinder.expedia.com/features/101-most-comfortable-cities-for-travelers, is based on survey results from more than 600,000 guests who responded to its request for reviews of the community’s accommodations. The company’s website, which draws millions of visitors annually, is credited with raising awareness among tourists about the most comfortable places to visit. In selecting the program’s top sites, Expedia pulled 2014 data from millions of verified Expedia user reviews, giving the top 101 U.S. cities with the highest hotel comfort ratings their rankings. Reviews covered everything from the most comfortable hotel beds to the coziest amenities. The top score, received was 4.6 out of 5 for Deadwood, South Dakota, with Irvine, California – the 101st place on the list – receiving a score of 4.2. The top 10 places are highlighted on Expedia’s website, together with a peek at 10 other contenders.
