Cricket Communications, a cellular telephone service which was acquired earlier this year by AT&T, has notified Cranberry that it will remove its antennas and ground equipment from the Township’s southern water tank and terminate its agreement concerning equipment placement as of October 31 next year. At its August 27 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors agreed to consider and accept a termination agreement at its regular meeting on September 3. Transmitters from other cell phone companies will remain in place on the tank. Fencing and other structural components which are integral to all of the carriers will also remain.
