Starting November 2, anyone longing to have their own trailer-mounted speed sign, traffic lights and other icons of local government for personal use, will have the opportunity to buy them as surplus items that Cranberry is auctioning online. The trailer, along with two pickup trucks and an assortment of gameroom-ready traffic lights, as well as pool heaters, office equipment and more, will be available for bidding at Municibid until November 26. At its October 29 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors authorized the web-based sale. And you don’t need to be a government official to participate in Municibid’s eBay-style auctions which offer no-longer-needed items from local governments throughout the northeastern U.S.
