The new water dump bucket being installed as part of an upgrade to Cranberry’s North Boundary Community Waterpark to make a real splash is going to require a few extra dollars. At the November 19 Board of Supervisors meeting, the $9,400 cost overrun was explained as a result of the combined need to install a new cement curb around the bucket’s structure, to have an another image of the CT mascot logo printed on it, and to undertake additional demolition on the current structure as a result of the pool’s floor and wall being thicker than expected. The Board approved payment to the contractor, Midatlantic Construction, to avoid any delay in the time-sensitive pool reconstruction. For more information, contact Jason Kratsas, Director, Engineering
