At its June 2 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors agreed to advertise a public hearing on several proposed updates to the ordinance which stipulates details about the materials and processes that are required under the current Township development code. The hearing will be held at the Board’s June 30 meeting. One change would revise the specifications for home water meter installations to reflect the new generation of remote digital meters that the Township will be installing over the next 2 to 3 years. Another update concerns the procedures for water system testing, and a third revises the specifications for poles and mast arms used to illuminate local roundabouts.
