Township Public Works personnel will close Nicklaus Drive – the southern access road to the Wal-Mart complex – the morning of Tuesday, July 8, to replace a cracked sanitary sewer manhole casting just north of its intersection with Old Freedom Road. The work is about 250 feet north of a similar casting replaced late last month. The road will be closed to all traffic from 6:30 until 11:00 AM. Traffic along Old Freedom Road will not be affected.Cranberry Township Community WaterPark is open every day, weather permitting, through September 1. Residents with discount cards receive $2 off the $8 full-day admission price, beginning at 11:30 AM. Twilight rates, after 6:00 PM are $3 for residents, $4 for non-residents. Normal pool closing is 8:00 PM, but on Tuesdays and Fridays, the pool will reopen at 9:00 for a two-hour night swim. A separate admission of $3 applies.
Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older. To protect guests from disease, the WaterPark will not admit anyone with a bad cold, bad cough, inflamed eyes, open sores, or similar infections. Lifeguards are authorized to determine “proper” conduct for all persons in the WaterPark.
