[ARCHIVED] Manager's Coffee & Conversation at EMS

EMS Logo

Cranberry Township’s 2017 Coffee and Conversation program will feature a tour of the Cranberry Emergency Medical Service facility with Township Manager Jerry Andree at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 9.

Initially formed as part of the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company, Cranberry EMS is now an independent agency with its own full-time paid staff.  It has been designated as the Township’s official 911 emergency medical service provider.  But it also conducts a variety of other programs throughout the year involving basic training in CPR, AED and first aid, as well as child car seat installation, home safety for infants, home wellness checks, and non-emergency medical transport.

At the May 9 Coffee, Mr. Andree and EMS staff members will discuss the agency’s mission, operations, and challenges.

There is no charge to attend the event, which will be held at the EMS Base Station, adjacent to the Rt. 19 Park Fire Station.  Event parking is available in a lot on Ernie Mashuda Drive behind the station.  No reservations are required, although an RSVP to 724-776-4806 x1089 would be appreciated for planning purposes.
