Final plans for a proposed townhome community in the Township’s northwest quadrant were approved by Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors at its June 29 meeting. The 93-unit development, now called The Reserve at Eagle Hill, consists of 3, 5 and 6-unit structures, on a 25-acre site previously owned by the Schneider family. The YMCA carrying the family’s name is on an adjacent parcel of land. The townhouse project will be accessed from Florida Boulevard – currently a private gravel road across Rt. 19 from the auto auction. Improvements to that road, including the addition of sidewalks, lighting, street trees and municipal water and sewer service, as well as modest improvements to accommodate traffic turning from Rt. 19 onto Florida Boulevard, are included in the plans.
