Patrons of the North Park Lounge have been reluctant to use the parking area behind the restaurant because it requires them to walk around to the front of the building in order to get in. That will soon be changing. At its June 29 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors approved a land development application from the restaurant owners to build a 600-square foot deck with steps and a ramp leading from its Bamboo Bar to the lower-level rear parking lot, next to its Beach Volleyball Courts. The ramp will cross a small stream, requiring a special state permit. Separately, the Board approved the restaurant’s application to construct a stormwater detention pond on the northeastern corner of its 4-acre site.
