When
builders began earthmoving operations for the new Eagle Hill townhome communityon Florida Boulevard near the Rose Schneider YMCA, they made a surprise discovery:
they had to move more dirt than could be used to simply rebalance the siteitself. So instead of carting the
surplus soil off to a remote location, the developer had better idea: keep theproject’s already approved plan in place, but raise everything by one
foot. But, since elevation change affectthe property’s drainage and sewer lines, the developer needed to bring his
proposed revision back to the Township for approval. At its May 3 meeting, Cranberry’s Board ofSupervisors agreed to approve the change.
