Swimming season in the Cranberry Waterpark officially ended on Labor Day, September 3. But only for humans. On Saturday, September 8, the pool reopens – this time just for dogs. Cranberry’s Puppy Plunge will be held in two different 90-minute sessions that same day: from 9:00 AM to 10:30 and from 11:00 AM to 12:30. Every dog must be accompanied by a veterinarian’s certificate documenting current rabies vaccination – rabies tags alone will not be accepted. Aggressive dogs will not be allowed. Pre-registration is strongly recommended. Registration is available online at www.cranberrytownship.org/register, by phone at 724-779-4386, or in person at the Parks & Recreation Customer Service Desk in the Cranberry Township Municipal Center. A Cranberry resident program fee of $5 per dog – $6 for non-residents – is payable at the time of registration. Any number of people can accompany their dog, but at least one member of each party must 16 or older.
