A 37-acre wooded parcel on Peters Road, maintained for years as a retreat by the Russian Orthodox Church and sold to the Singer Development company this past November, will become an extension of the Singer company’s Forest Edge Planned Residential Development, fronting along Hope Road, provided that Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors approves the revised plan. The new property could accommodate another 42 single family homes, bringing the plan’s total to 101 units. However, a number of concerns raised by neighboring residents were presented during the Board’s January 31 hearing. To more fully hear their concerns as well as the developer’s responses to them, testimony on the revised plan will be continued at the Board’s February 28 meeting.
