Testimony from neighbors of a proposed expansion of the Forest Edge planned residential development continued at the February 28 meeting of Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors. A detailed slide presentation from the PRD’s developer attempted to explain the overall 101-unit project and to address specific concerns that had been raised at the previous hearing in January, many of which involved the project’s environmental impact. A slight modification to the layout of a pipe associated with a wetland relocation had been made since the earlier meeting in addition to clarification on the proposed plantings. Following testimony, the Board agreed to close the hearing and to consider final approval of the Revised Tentative Planned Residential Development application at its March 7 meeting. In a related move, the Board agreed to consider a revision to the previous plan that included a cul-de-sac which, if the plan were expanded, would be replaced by a thru road.
