[ARCHIVED] Manger's Coffees to focus on land development, property rights

At its core is finding the right balance between property owners’ rights and the interest of the property owner’s neighbors.

During two successive monthly Coffee and Conversation get-togethers, Township Manager Jerry Andree will be joined by Assistant Township Manager Dan Santoro and Planning and Development Services Director Ron Henshaw to discuss the municipality’s development tools and strategies with interested residents.

At 6:30 on Thursday, March 28, the talk will focus on the planning process and how planning serves as the foundation for land use regulation.  At 6:30 on Tuesday, April 30, the discussion will center around one of the Township’s most powerful development tools: the zoning of land use and resulting land development ordinances.

Both gatherings will take place in Council Chambers.  All are welcome, and no advance reservations are needed.  However, to facilitate planning, an RSVP to 724-776-4806 x 1089 would be appreciated
