Land use zoning, subdivision and land development ordinances are among the most powerful tools that local governments have available to control their destiny and shape their community’s development. Because zoning rules apply to private property, they are of keen interest to land owners, who see the value of their holdings directly affected by permitted and prohibited uses under the zoning regulations.
During the second of a two-part Coffee and Conversation get-together at 6:30 on Tuesday, April 30, Township Manager Jerry Andree will be joined by Assistant Township Manager Dan Santoro, Planning and Development Services Director Ron Henshaw and Planning Manager Jordan Holloway to discuss how the municipality applies its state-authorized zoning tools and ordinance powers to achieve its long-range vision.
The session will take place in Council Chambers. All are welcome, and no advance reservations are needed. However, to facilitate planning, an RSVP to 724-776-4806 x1089 would be appreciated.
