A new project will go with the flow – and add some – along Goehring Road.
Upgrades to the Township’s water system will include the repair and enlargement of pipe along Goehring Road beneath Interstate 79.
The existing 8-inch pipe needs repaired, which provides an opportunity to upgrade and replace it with a new 12-inch pipe. This upgrade will increase improve transportation capacity of the entire water system is in line with other Township efforts to review the need for capacity improvements.
The Board of Supervisors on September 24 approved a contract with Stefaniks N.G.C.C. to perform the work. Work is expected to be completed this fall.
