It may be sweltering and sunny outside, but the Township Waterpark has the winter holiday season on its mind.
A Christmas in July celebration is set for 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 30. Waterpark guests are invited to wear their most festive swimsuits and join the fun.
Holiday music will be played throughout the day, and Township mascot CT will be in attendance to spread holiday cheer. There’s also a rumor that Jolly Old Saint Nick himself may stop by.
Waterpark memberships for the 2022 season will also be on sale that day offering the biggest discount of the year.
The event will also feature the Township EMS crew who will be on hand to kick off their annual Stuff an Ambulance initiative. Waterpark visitors are asked to bring an unwrapped toy that will be donated this holiday season to Toys for Tots. While the EMS crew are at the Waterpark they will demonstrate a water-rescue with the Waterpark lifeguards at 1:45 p.m.
Those who donate will be entered into a drawing to win free Waterpark guest passes for the 2021 Waterpark season.
