A community funded project is finally forging ahead.
After delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ribbon was officially cut on the Cranberry Library’s Makerspace. Dubbed “The Forge,” the project was the Cranberry Township Community Chest’s 2019 Project of the Year.
The Makerspace features a Cricut maker, sewing and embroidery machines, soldering stations, a laser engraver, and several 3D printers. That’s in addition to the everyday supplies one needs to make a work of art.
Board members attended the ribbon cutting and a video about The Forge was shown during the Board meeting.
