The goal of making the Township more pedestrian friendly while also improving traffic infrastructure continues.
The Board of Supervisors on September 30 approved a submission for a 2021 Congestion Mitigation Air Quality Program grant to be used for intersection improvements on Franklin Road, Garvin Road and Callery Road.
In addition to intersection improvements, funding would be used for additional roadway upgrades aimed at aiding the flow of traffic and increasing pedestrian connectivity.
As part of the application, the Township would contribute 20 percent matching funds.
