The second phase of improvements to the Municipal Center Rear Parking Lot are set to begin Wednesday, September 7.
During this phase, the eastern half of the rear parking lot will be fenced off and closed. This includes the rear Police entrance and most of the rear sidewalk which will be demolished and removed. Construction is anticipated to be completed early November.
Due to the ongoing work, the 911 Emergency Call Box will be moved from the Police entrance to the Parks & Rec entrance in the rear of the building. Signage, barricades, and temporary lighting will be in place.
Additionally, beginning October 3rd, the Seneca Valley School District busses will drop-off and pick-up in the front entrance of the building, as construction moves to the western area of the rear parking lot.
Future partial closures to other areas of the rear parking lot are anticipated as the entire rear parking lot is being improved.
