An application by Allegheny Plastics, a supplier of printed and injection molded plastics, to expand its plant at the corner of Thorn Hill Drive Extension and Freedom Road for manufacturing operations, was approved by Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors at its March 3 meeting. The company plans to build a 13,940 square foot addition to accommodate its growth. Expansion of the plant, whose site falls within the recently enacted Streetscape Enhancement district, will include various amenities stipulated in that ordinance including sidewalks, trees, and other improvements.
